South Coast Local Group
The South Coast Local Group of INCOSE UK is based in the Portsmouth/Southampton area. Current members come from Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex and Berkshire.
It provides an opportunity to share ideas with like-minded colleagues in an easygoing evening atmosphere. Attendance is not restricted to INCOSE members and, where possible, free of charge.
If you have any suggestions for topics / presentations or would like to host an event then please contact any of the committee members. If you would like to become involved in the organisation of the group then please contact us.

We have had a wide range of presentations to cover different aspects of Systems and Systems Engineering
'Understanding Systems' In February 2013, we had a presentation on Developing Systems Understanding Using Virtual Learning Environments by Ivan MacTaggart from AWE.
'IT Sector' In November 2012, John Davies presented ideas from the IT Sector that could be applied to systems engineering.
'Cyber Security' In September 2012, we visited the Cyber Test Range at Northrop Grumman to see the modelling of large systems and networks and how they deal with cyber attacks.
'Architectures' In April 2012, we had a presentation on the work of the INCOSE UK Architecting Group from its secretary, Brian Hepworth, and a brief on the work of INCOSE and where it is going from our Technical Director, Andrew Farncombe.
'Complexity Science' In November 2011 we had a presentation on Complexity Science from Dr Jason Noble of the University of Southampton. Jason presented three example projects modelling complex systems.
'Capability' In September 2011 Andrew Daw gave a talk on 'All I know about Capability' (not really but he seems to know more than anyone else and the after-meeting discussions were longer than the talk).
'INCOSE UK - Startup' March 2011 was our first meeting held at NATS, and provided an overview of INCOSE by Alan Harding - the current INCOSE UK President - and a forum for discussion Systems Engineering and what the group could/should cover.
